Virtual Credit Cards

For many of us here in the UK, online transactions are becoming more and more commonplace and, being moneysavers, we tend to shop around for the best prices which often takes us over 'the pond' to the US. Unfortunately a major hurdle to moneysaving (apart from import tax) is getting overseas stores to accept UK credit cards.
I speak in particular about downloads and, in my case, those from the Playstation Network for the PS3. I can access the free content but without a credit card registered to a US address I can't buy anything to download.
I have been advised to get an online credit card (or virtual card as they are known) but I know absolutely nothing about them and was wondering if Martin could do an article or if anyone else has any advice or experience with them?
Cheers

If you mean card registered to US address, then I dont have much experience of it but for safe online shopping I use Cahoot Credit Card who are providing facility of "web card" which is very useful for online shopping here and abroad
You have small utility on your computer which generates a credit card (linked to your main card with validity of 1 month) for your specified limit. It is very useful and I have used it for years now and never had problem with it
Hope it helps0 -
iv tried https://www.wwwcard.co.il
