Re-mortgage

hi
Sorry if this has been asked before, but don't really know where to start, as I have never done with before and I know there is a lot of expertise on this site.
Our mortgage deal is coming to an end on 30.06.2013, our current rate is 4.49 and it will auto go up to 4.99 if we don't go into a deal.
We are with Santander.
Is this a good deal or can I get cheaper, any replys to this would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Claire

We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits.

Snap.
I don't really rate any of Santander's deals at the moment. HSBC have some good deals that are available without arrangement or exit fees. In particular the lifetime trackers look very competitive - you can see them all on their website.
It's probably worth going on a comparison site or two though to see what else is out there, but HSBC's deals were the ones that caught my eye.0 -

Hi Claire,
Obviously a rate will be determined by your individual circumstances and no-one will be able to comment if there is better out there without knowing more about your situation.
If you want to provide approx. balance and valuation and if the mortgage is repayment or interest only; this can be a starting point and sure you will get some opinion.
