JSA First Payment

Hi,
Quick question, i was made redundant at the end of March, just short of 2 years with the company i was working for. They went into Liquidation. Thing is, i wasn't paid for March either.
Unfortunately the few leads i've had on jobs since then have come to nothing and I'm still searching for work frantically.
I currently have £8 to my name. I don't know when my pay will come through from the government because, i was told to hand the forms back to my old company on leaving. They said they were sending them out to the restructuring company on the 5th.
I'm told JSA claims are usually dealt with, within 14 days (however, let's face it, it's very unlikely). Applied on the 2nd, interview on the 4th, first signing on, on the 11th.
I'm struggling to even feed myself, i have nothing at the moment but the rent paid up till the end of the month and I'm moving back to my Dad's in two weeks for a fresh start. I just found out there is no such thing as a Crisis Loan anymore (according to the .gov website).
Is there actually any help i can get? Bills are likely to go unpaid now, too (i used up the last of my funds to pay off bills for this month).
Also, given the dates above, when is it likely i receive my first JSA payment? I was hoping it'd never come down to claiming again, but alas.
edit: Apologies, i often browse this section and forgot to change to the benefits section before posting.

You have already signed on the 11th? If your claim was set up you would be paid tomorrow, so call the number online and see if the claim has been set up.
I guess you can claim for a crisis loan but no idea how much that would be and how long it takes etcWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
