Am I the only one who's hoping the the moaning minnies who are treating PB like their own personal cashpoint machines, actually do pack up and go?

Would make the chances of the rest of us, (who do see "bonus" points i.e. the CTs, as just that - bonuses) winning the competitions that much better.

If you really want to build up your PPs, then do what the site is intended for, and BUY something and EARN cashback, in the form of points.

    Ain't rocket science, is it?

My main gripe isnt about the free points as such although that is a let down going from so many to 20-30. My main point is Pigsback would be nothing without its members, the companies wouldnt get the advertising they need and pigsback wouldnt get paid for this advertising, unfortunately pigsback are making us their members do the work for them by having to chase up our points send in countless emails proving that we have done this that and the other right and even then sometimes they say tough luck!!! Even the referring people is abit of a joke i have seen so many people on here say they havent recieved the points. Pigsback have now gained those new members who will look at their adverts and probably buy through the site, but are not keeping their promises of points. Pigsback are in a win win situation. If you get what i mean. I can ramble sometimes :o

    reply recieved as follows.....

Both The Virgin Voucher and Leisure Vouchers are owned by the same company
Acorne Ltd, the vouchers will be sold the same as they currently are and as
    separate vouchers.

To have a look what both vouchers offer, take a look on
    https://www.thevirginvoucher.co.uk and https://www.leisurevouchers.co.uk

ohh well worth hoping that they would extend the use of them to virgin.

Thanks for that.... i missed the original post about vouchers so was very excited to see that leisure vouchers are still going to be available and also that Virgin are taking over, IMHO Virgin are a very good company!!:D

The site makes its money through marketing. The advertisers pay Pigsback to have their sites promoted through 'clickthroughs'. Even if you never spent a penny of your hard-earned cash via Pigsback and just took advantage of the 'free points' Pigsback would still profit from you.

They even describe themselves as a marketing company on the site: http://www.empathymarketing.com/html/PB.asp

Believe me, Pigsback certainly aren't losing anything. The cashback rates that they do offer are far lower than those offered by Quidco but Pigsback use a different approach to other cashback sites to encourage customer loyalty.

Fair enough, posters get sick of hearing people moaning about the lack of CTs but please don't see Pigsback as being anything but a business. If they aren't being paid to promote particular sites then the CTs will be few and far between.

If you had the inclination to go back through some of the old, closed Pigsback threads, you would see that there are definite peaks and troughs in terms of Pigsback and the points that are 'given away.' The speed at which you can accumulate points also drops the longer you are a member.

When Pigsback first launched in the UK, you used to earn 'free points' for entering the daily comps - honestly!. Imagine the moaning that happened when that stopped! ;):D

Most people can spare a few minutes every now and again to click on a website for a very small financial incentive. Those that can't, probably shouldn't be wasting their valuable time moaning on here. ;)

    Erm...

    quoted from here

"In their own words, it's an 'online club of consumers and brands'. You sign up for an account and then receive targeted offers, competitions and surveys from the Pigsback network of advertisers. As you interact with these events you build up 'piggy points', which you can exchange for goods and services."

Doesn't say anything about having to buy stuff.

Didn't the site used to be called 'paid to click' or something like that?

Has anyone closed their pigsback account? My recently referred friend thinks the site is giving poor rewards, (Im embarrassed after bumping my gums about it for the last year or so!!!!) He reckons that once he's claimed his next and last reward, he's going to close the account for a few months to see if things pick up at all. Would he be able to reopen his account under the same email address in the future if he wants to take it up again? Im sure once your account is deleted you cant re-register under the same email address, He cant see why not, Can someone settle the difference of opinion?
I dont know why he doesnt just leave the account in limbo, on standby, but he thinks that his cancelllation of account, will demonstrate a loss of a member to Pigsback!!!!..........MEN!!!!???? hahaha.

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!
