    Hi,

could anyone be so kind to help me validate my PB account?

    thanks :T

Are you outside the UK Perand? If so ask a friend in the UK (who is not a PB member) if you can put their mobile phone number in, then they can send you the code. You only need to enter a code the first time you apply for vouchers....you dont need a code for any further vouchers.

    HTH

EDIT.....apparently if you email PB and explain that you do not have a UK mobile they can validate your account another way?? I am not sure how it is done but I am sure other people mentioned it somewhere on the previous PB thread.
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

Now the instant points quizzes are cut back to 1 it will be much slower accruing points. I'm not sure if it's still worth my while
Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker

I emailed Pigsback as I didn't have anywhere to enter my date of birth within subscriptions.

Here is part of the response:

"Unfortunately the birthday email feature has not yet been implemented for our Northern Ireland members. This is due to happen in the coming months, alongside the relaunching of the Pigsback website as a whole."

I see the CDWOW points per £ has been slashed by 50% to 5 per £1 spent.

Yes, I noticed this as well. However, when I bought from CD-WOW yesterday, I got 80 points for an 8 £ purchase - I guess they haven't quite adjusted the system yet!

By the way, in reference to the TXT validation, I need help on that one as well. I don't know anyone in the UK I could ask to do this for me, but could anyone in here lend a number to give me a hand? I'd certainly appreciate it. I've amassed enough points to get a voucher, but I can't get my account validated without this.

 dunno where everyone went to - never known this thread to be so quiet. Sorry I can't help.

Thanks so much to everyone who participates in this thread and provides us with the answers to the quizzes. I won a quiz this week .... yaaaay!!! I think it is the first time I have won anything :)

Someone asked earlier about the new threads, and I wondered if it would be viable to have a sub-board for Pigsback so that different topics can have their own threads. That would keep the threads shorter and it would be easier to find what you are looking for.

Thanks to the moderators too, we do appreciate how much time people put in (voluntarily) to keeping this site clean and well maintained.
