Reckless, written by Paul Abbott (State of Play, Cracker, Shameless), is the story of young surgeon Owen Springer (Robson Green) leaving London for Manchester to look after his belligerent but ailing father.
On the train north he borrows a mobile phone from a very sexy woman, Anna (Francesca Annis) who he is immediately drawn to. When, by chance, their paths cross again during his search for a job he quickly begins to fall in love with her. Things become more complicated when he realises that he is working for his new love’s husband (Michael Kitchen) but by this time it is too late as he is totally besotted with Anna.
The double DVD contains extra features including the writer’s biography, and cast filmographies and is priced at just £19.99. Reckless will be available from leading High Street video stores or by calling the Acorn Video sales hotline on 0845 123 2312.
FRANCESCA ANNIS (Jane Eyre) stars with Robson Green (Wire in the Blood) and Michael Kitchen (Foyle’s War) in the superb drama Reckless released as a double DVD by Acorn on 14 May 2007.
Our great friends at Acorn Media UK have given us some copies of the DVD to give away, to try and win just tell us the name of another series written by Paul Abbott.
