i didn't buy the above, just stood there and flipped thro pages, people didn't seem to care that much, staffs didn't give me dirty look as i put a few chat mag in the trolley, so i was going to buy something.

Hi Molly Munchkin - Can you let us know if the magazine money of coupons specifically state WHSmith on them please ? I guess they probably will but would love it if they didnt ! Am really missing the Book voucher this month !

ASDA do the same for Tesco & Sainsburys coupons but it is NOT for 20p off Tesco milk or 50p off Sainsburys Cheese etc.. etc..

It is for any coupon that is a monetary discount off of a specific total till receipt at a competitor.

Eg. Spend £20 at Tesco and get £2 off, Spend £50 at Sainsburys and get £5 off

These are effectively a 10% discount off a total bill at the checkout.

ASDA & TESCO will take these type of other supermarket coupons to match the same offer.

I have yet to see a poster or banner at a Tesco that says anything different than 'we accept Sainsburys Spend & Save vouchers' (= the conditional spend ones that you mention which are the ONLY acceptable ones AFAIK).

Sorry but yes, it's valid only in WHS. I should have made that clear in my post, I'll amend it now.
