No MOCs in the November issue of Asda mag, just some competition entry forms to win a champagne hot-air balloon flight (page 55) and a spa treatment (page 90). There are various other competitions advertised, which can be entered online: www.asdamagazine.com/competitions

OK, I couldn't think of any way to make this relevant to magazines but since so many of us buy the mags for the excellent beauty freebies (is that the sound of a point being stretched? ;) ), I thought some people on here might be interested in this excellent beauty freebie (a bag of Burt's Bees goodies):

Thanks to ceefas32. You need to register to the site (no card details etc. needed) and sign up to the email newsletter (you won't get the freebie otherwise). At the moment, it's in the expired section of the freebies board but there's been confirmation from Burt's Bees (well, not the bees themselves, I assume) that the offer's back on for a while. :D

Edit: the offer's now been removed from the Burt's Bees site (again).

How do you enter for the competition? I got an email today from when I entered a month or so ago saying "sorry you have not won...etc etc" I did log back onto the site but could not see any competition or similar freebie anywhere:confused:

You need to go to the shop section on the Burt's Bees website and on the top right hand side you should see a paragraph and photo headed 'LAUNCH GIFT (first 200 people)' (I'm not shouting - it really is in capital letters ;) ). You click to register your details and you have to tick the newsletter sign-up box to get your gift. You should then get an email confirming your gift.

This offer first hit the Freebie Board a few days ago and then disappeared from their site. It reappeared a couple of days later and a freebie board regular emailed Burt's Bees to ask if the first lot of applicants would be getting the freebie. The reply from Burt's Bees said yes, the freebie would be sent out, and that the offer had received such a good response that they'd bought it back for a while. People applying yesterday were still getting the confirmation email so it's certainly worth a go. :)

Edit: the offer's now been removed from the Burt's Bees site (again).

Just a reminer as I think that Elle comes out today or tomorrow, it has the Reiss £20 voucher in it, if anyone does manage to get hold of the mag! (sorry, its been a looong and lonely time since I went shopping for any sort of clothes- can you tell?!!)
  • Thanks for the updates on the first two posts, MBN. Bump! :)
  • Thanks for that Jenniewb

Has anyone got Elle yet with the Reiss Voucher

There's a thread about it on the freebies (low spend) board:

Apparently, it can only be used on dresses and women's shoes, not accessories. :(
