I think its because theres never anything in the weeklies anymore. We've been so short of coupons in the newspapers, magazines are just as bad.
I had hoped being in a recession might mean more coupons, but no companies just get tighter!

This is correct, the weekly mags are usually mentioned in post no2 of this thread (along with the store specific mags), however there hasn't been much worth mentioning over the past few weeks. :( There haven't been MOCs in Best recently (I checked this week's issue yesterday, and didn't find any), and the OK MOCs - if printed in Star or New mags - don't scan at Tesco any longer.

I agree, companies have got tighter. :(

I picked up my biotherm freebie today (instyle magazine offer) and it is very small. Only 20ml. I'm sure the ad in the mag said 30ml.

I'm going to try to get the marie claire freebie tomorrow. I got my sub copy today and I'm wondering if the mag is on sale in the shops yet? if it isn't then we stand a better chance of claiming our freebie;) Good luck everyone. Power to the moneysavers:D

Well am going to buck the trend here (re: no good offers in weekly mags)

Grazia mag for this week (starting 30/06/09)

25% off Designer Swimware, website is www.sandinmytoes.com and code is GM09, code is valid until 13th July. Usual story, cannot be used on postage, cannot be used with another offer (so prob not on sale items?) and one code used per customer.

Receive a FREE Este Lauder Sensious Deluxe Miniature Fragrance when you book a complimentary Sensious Gold makeover, take page 85 to Selfridges.
(which according to the models face, is a bronzing facial make over--why why why are we all supposed to wear bronze make up in the summer -am moaning as I am fair as you can get- even foundations are too dark for me, I cannot begin to describe how stupid it would look if my face were bronze and my body still white!)

Also, from 23rd July, get a FREE premium skincare sample worth £25 (there is hope for me yet!)- will need the mag sold on July 21st for that offer.

    Thanks for the info.
I just wondered with the changes to the whole site whether the weeklies had been split out onto another thread.
I was concerned I was missing loads of MOC - I only ever buy any mags or papers for the MOC and offers.;)

I have a huge bag of old magazines I am taking into the hospital today.
My best friend is in, and even though my copies are not the most up-to-date, they are a couple of years newer than what they already have !!

FWIW the ok coupons still scan at Asda

just got my Elle sub copy (Aug 2009) and it has a free vest top in it! Mine is bright cerise pink with a ruffle down the front. Not the best of quality, very thin and raw edges - though that may be the fashion nowadays  but not bad for a freebie!

not been through the rest of the mag yet - will let you know later.

edit - size, hmmm not very generous!

Can I ask how you got Easy Cook free?

Hi MrsE, I don't think I can find you a free Easy cook mag but you can get 3 issues for £1

    clicky here

Remember you have to set up & pay via direct debit, but don't worry you can cancel your direct debit after you received your 1st or 2nd issues & they will not charged you anymore. And you still get your 3 issues.

There are lots of 3 issues for £1 magazines click below for more info:-
