Sorry Ive not been on. We lost one of our five yr old goldfish yesterday after she took bad christmas eve (Typical, with everywhere shut) andyou may say she was only a fish, but she was OUR fish and one of our family and we're all very upset. Just hoping the other one is OK.

Hope everyone had a happy christmas!

    Firstly, thanks for the posting
I have not used WHS vouchers yet but these seem to be ideal to go with our giftcards. Are they accepted at High street stores without any quibbles. Where do the vouchers originate from, are they from a WHS source ?

Yes, these vouchers are accepted at WH Smiths stores without quibble. There has been a similar voucher around since the Autumn, this is just the latest version. They are fine.

They did originate from WH Smith and I think they were even mentioned on one of Martin's emails as well. They are absolutely OK and can be used with giftcards as part of your method of purchase (i.e. spend £11 on kids books, hand over the fiver printed voucher first, once they have scanned that then pay with a £5 giftcard and a pound in cash).

Always best to offer any promo voucher first, before any giftcard, in case the cashier doesn't realise they are OK to use together (they are because a giftcard isn't a promo voucher, it's like cash of course).
