Many thanks for the info! What is in the mag this month (in terms of reading)?

    TIA
Well, I haven't had the time to read any of it , but from what's caught my attention and I'm planning to read, there's

an interview with Ashely Jensen (I think she's great) plus a thing about British actresses in the States.

A life coach thing about people-pleasing and being more assertive (I could do with some of that :o)

Something about being 'mingle' - a new word meaning being married but behaving as if you're single

A big section on kids and families (including travelling with kids, and mum-preneurs (OK this mag is keen on weird words  )

    Success secrets of famous women

    Woman meeting her birth family

    Giving up luxuries

    Interview with Matthew MacFadyen

    Life after Brit Pop

And last but not least, a yummy pic of Daniel Craig (fully dressed, unfortunately!) :rotfl: :T

re: the tesco mag offer, well in our store today, on the newspaper stand where they put mags above it, they had a red banner saying promotions, exactly like last time when they did the 150 points offer. So I bought closer and look, which were both on the stand. But looked at receipt and theres nothing on it, so no points or any other offer! :( No doubt the mags are all in a muddle and no one really knows whats going on!

This week's More mag is a special price of 80p instead of £1.30 - inside on page 63 is a moc for 50p off next issue on sale between 7-13 Oct, usual 99 barcode.
  • This month's Good Housekeeping magazine comes with a free mini Dove Pro-Age moisturiser and Easy Feel Good Food cookbook. Both are included inside the magazine's plastic wrapper, so no need to collect from anywhere or pay p&p.

Can't comment on any mocs, as I didn't buy it.
  • Nothing much of interest in the TRAVEL version of Marie Claire this month, a couple of samples - Calvin Klein's Obsession & Armani Code. Advert for next month (don't know if it's full size version only) 3 bars of 'Green & Black's' Chocolate - Milk, Dark & Butterscotch flavours.
2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,

I didn't get these with my postal subscription to Good Housekeeping!
  • Went to tesco this morning, found the 100 point promo display - but "cleverly" thought out display materials hides the list of mags included. So I picked up 2 mags that were in the promo section only to find that no points were awarded!

However, one of the mags I picked up was Light & Easy for £3.99, which came with a free You Are What You Eat - Live Well, Live Longer Book which has an RRP of £14.99. Might make a nice Christmas gift.
