) but I'm wondering how spammy they are? Do you get lots of rubbish from them / do they pass your details on, meaning you get lots of rubbish from everyone else? I wouldn't mind a daily email from them but I don't want my inbox to be filled with lots of other crap.
Sorry if this isn't strictly relevant for this thread (although it's free emails from a magazine, so I guess it's a magazine freebie of sorts) - I thought you lovely magaziney people would offer the best advice on this.
I signed up for the newsletter a while ago now. All I get is the daily newsletter and no spam. If you enter an online competition and sign up for the newsletter, it does give tick box options for how much contact you want from them.
Just to show its worthwhile, I'm now doing a Pantene Pro-V Restoratives trial, having been picked out in the first 500.I have 5 full sized items to trial and its great stuff. Can't access the addy they gave for the survey though, so hopefully they'll get that sorted out soon.

Thanks for such a prompt reply! Nice to hear that you got the Pantene stuff - I entered for that through a link on the freebies board but it looks like the only people that got it were the people that got the actual email. Quite right too - I'd be really annoyed if I'd got the email and they had all gone within hours because of the freebie sites (although it didn't stop me having a go - I'm such a hypocrite
) so I thought I may as well sign up and do it properly.
PS Thanks for the good tip about signing up through the comps page - I was a bit worried that if I signed up via the home page, I wouldn't have any way of editing my options.0 -
