I was told at Thornotns it was not their promotion-filled in a customer form, but they say they are doing the promo with hallmark where you buy a book and bring in the receipt, not this.
I have a feeling it is for the Hallmark cards shops whcih stock Thorntons, bu tnone near enough to me to try.

Coupon-mad

I used 2 in a High Street Thorntons on Sunday, no problems (2 different addys, & my teenage daughter was with me so we were 2 separate customers). They said they had already taken one on Saturday and the only problem they noticed was the price is no longer £2.85. But it makes no odds as the item is free.

I think it's a bit daft that some Thorntons are refusing the coupon; how on earth do they expect to have heard of every promotion that various websites may be running? And why can't they just ring HO or something to check rather than just turn customers away?
