It`s the SHE mag-good book, too, have read before, but gripping enough to read again, can`t remember the ending!!

When they've put out vouchers in the past, it has always been within a few days of a new issue coming out. So if there's going to be a new voucher now, it probably won't come out until late this month. But if you can find a WHSmith that is giving away the free Tigi in addition to the body butter you already get with the mag, I'd say you can still feel like you found a bargain if you pay £3.20 for the lot! Heck, it's not a bad deal if you only get the body butter (fab stuff). It's even better if you live in one of the very few areas where you can take in the page from the mag to get free Stella McCartney goodies (I think those locations are in the first post of this or one of the other mag threads). hth

    Thanks skibster

I bought two copies of the mag today for the body butter and I used the April coupon for each of them and it still scanned :-) Not sure if I should really do that but it worked so i was chuffed to say the least. It does have the part in it about the stella goodies, but I havent read it properly to find out how to get it. I really really wanted the tigi conditioner as I have terrible hair and am due to buy my next lot of tigi, its great with my hair, so im bit gutted that its only in London area.

    Thanks for your help

Yes, it will still work BUT it is out of date and the SA will get in trouble for accepting it!

This is also what everyone refers to as coupon abuse and if people continue to ABUSE the system, Tesco will stop taking them altogether! There are enough in-date valid coupons out there (even if it means buying them off ebay) so there is no excuse for this!!

Sorry for the rant, but this makes me angry:mad:

    Hello newish2this

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate your opinion. I am new to the couponing and have been doing it for appx 1 month now. I always try and stick to the rules and regulations as I have read on here. I am certainly not of the opinion lets just see what I can get away with and ****** to everyone else, I certainly do not want to ABUSE the system as you say in any way. I merley tried the coupon as I thought that the coupon didnt scan after it expired and as long as the merchant pass it in before 27th of may i think i recall on the line then it would be ok.

ps I used the self scan till so no one will get in trouble thankfully as I would not want that either

I didn't mean to come across aggressive, I was trying to point out that this is wrong! This website is very friendly and if you were curious, you could have asked;)

I have got a cob on regarding coupon abuse at the moment as, my local, a very coupon friendly store, has just stopped all internet coupons and have limited their coupons to 5 per transaction!
This has been instigated because people were abusing the system!

So, live and learn Mrs T!:) If your local tesco is coupon friendly, don't abuse the system or else you may find you have to travel a further to use the beloved coupons;)

Cor you lot know how to make people feel old, Im 28 next week but you're making me feel 58, I'd never heard of this Emo thing either! Sorry to say im defo a straightner girl, my hair doesn't know if its straight or curly, and leaving it curly I get the odd straight bits, so hence I straaighten!

Back to the mags..... come on marie clare I want a new voucher!

Don't tell porkies manda, we know you're really 50  :j :rotfl: :A

Thing is though, my hair is neither curly or straight. (Bit of a mess really pmsl) but you wouldn't criticise me every day just because mine wasn't straight, would you? There are girls who have straight hair anyway who STILL straighten their hair each day and tell my lovely daughter she is ugly cos she doesn't straighten hers, and that's what flippin annoys me!!

If I am going out btw which is about once every time Amy Winehouse is sober, I do blow dry my hair then, but it is never either straight or curly lol, just looks a bit more respectable after i've blown it.:D

    Totally agree

My tesco, about a year ago in fact stopped accepting coupons after being very good for ages and taking no linit off your bill provided you stuck to the HO criteria. However people had been giving in coupons for morrisons asda etc and they decided enoughwas enough. I was gutted. I too have "barked" at people for abusing the system like NTT did, as it is so annoying when people become greedy and spoil it for all. I look at it that sometimes you have to either chuck coupons out, or, if I can I send them to other people who CAN use them rather than try and "get them past" a CA to make a fast buck, to ensure the longevity of coupon use.

Luckily after a frustrating summer/autumn, my tesco started taking them again just before Christmas and it is wonderful!

    Good Morning

I would just like to say that I am very grateful for all the comments, opinions and help that I receive on this board, as if were not for them I would not be couponing in the first place.

I am sure you did not mean to be agressive newish2this and I understand how It made you angry. I stand corrected and realise I should not have used this and should have used other coupons instead, and therefore was indeed in the wrong.

I would also like to re iterate that I in no way want to ABUSE the system. I am very thankfull for the money that I save, as I have a 3 month old baby and myself and my husband are on a tight budget and this helps us immensely.

I am glad that your tescos have started accepting your coupons again newish2this and discodee.

    thanks
    mrs t
