When I buy the Sainsburys mag I never have any coupons left over, put it that way. But please don't try more than a few at Sainsburys and put those you ARE buying the product for on the top, maybe mix in any that Nectar have sent you for extra points when buying bakery products or whatever.
The usual rule applies, the jobsworth middle-aged ladies on the tills know you should have bought ALL the products named on the coupons but others don't. Makes a change to go there sometimes I find, last week I even got more value in mocs off at Sainsburys than I did at Tesco (where I picked the wrong girl with a few H&B bits!).

Thank you for this it's something I never knew, never bought the magazines before but do like to go occasionally as they always have such a large amount of fresh chilled food reduced each day. I always stock up on meals for ''make do dinners'' cheaply down there. Had a few nectar vouchers so was going to go yesterday glad I delayed think i will go today definately after reading this post. Tell me could I be cheeky and take a couple of coupons out of the magazine before buying it to use at the till as then that will save me even more money instead of waiting till the next time I return to Sainsburys to use these vouchers. I'm lucky my local store has a lot of young girls and boys and they never seem to question the amounts on the vouchers, for example spend £8 on baby products and I buy one pack of wipes.

Yes, if I want to try and pull a fast one at sainsburys I firstly use a few legal coupons. It has only worked once but the one occassion was well worth it. Our sainsbuyrs always has students on the tills.
On the mini box packs of Nestle cereals for £1.07 are various coupons including ones for 25p off ceral bars. I've not tried this but Sainsburys do stock these so it might be worth offering some of these coupons when you stock up on the packs and just see if they will scan them. Also they have the big Nestle boxes eg shreddies buy 2 for £3 or such like with the Nestle Go Free vouchers on them, (again I have not tried this because their are no local venues for us with the Nestle Go free vouchers) always worth offering these coupons for those. I would offer half a dozen, see what happens. If they refuse the coupons just say you made a mistake and ask them to take the item off your bill.

Just popped into ToysRus, found they have free copies of the (old) issues of Woman and Woman's Own dated 4th June, being given to customers at the till who show their ToysRus Goldcard when making a purchase.
They must have been giving these out for a week or two but there were still some left at Hove ToysRUs (along with some free DrWho product posters showing the characters available to buy, nice for the kids' wall!).
Anyhoo, just to make it clear these are OLD copies, not the current issue, but there's coupons in those magazines!
On page 83 of Woman and page 75 of Woman's Own, there is an (exclusive to ToysRUs) '50p off the next issue' coupon. Slight snag is the small print says it's supposed to be 50p off the issue dated 11th June, which is last week's copy, not the one currently in the shops.
But it's a normal barcoded coupon, the larger type says '50p off next week's issue' AND the coupon is valid till 9.7.07 (in the customer bit), the retailer has another month after that to redeem it. So very useable at Tesco!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To save drawing any attention to yourself, what I do is buy a copy or two of their magazine at the cigarette kiosk (most Sainsburys have one near the entrance).
Then wander back out to your car - where you've kept a nice little pair of scissors specially for coupon-clipping - and sit and cut them all out. Don't forget the ones on the other pages (sorry don't know the pages, but see my post on the Sainsburys mag to make sure you get them all).
Also a quick tip, when you cut out the back page ones make sure you have the page with the barcodes facing you to make sure you don't cut through them (the dotted lines never match up on the other side... ).
Finally look out for freebie coupon demo stalls, some large Sainsburys are great at giving out nice coupons fairly regularly which is what got me back in there!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
