Hi. Just wondered if the Origins offer is only for subscribers? Also, do you have to take a voucher from the magazine with you? Thanks, Juliet.
The Origins offer is open to everyone. I booked my skin consultation with free back massage, cleaner and toner last night, and I'm not a subscriber. I didn't have to take any vouchers with me.
I also got given a Green & Blacks chocolate bar and a 5ml moisturiser.:T0 -
ok im really dim but i have questions as im new to all this. Just ordered my 2 free bbc mags so thanks for that
looking fwd to them!
Now see if i buy say the sainsburys mag can i use the vouchers that are for products which say tesco sell, can i use them in tesco? or only sainsburys?
Is it really as easy as just handing them the voucher even if i havent bought the product?
what is a 99 barcode?
and last but not least vouchers in the tesco free mag, do they work even without buying the items too?
Sorry lots of questions, but figured best to get them all out of the way in one go - thanks a lot in advance0 -

Since I've just replied to you on the other thread I thought I'd have a go at some of your questions here too.
Technically the Sainsbury's vouchers may scan in Tesco, although I believe they aren't supposed to take them. You have hit on an area of dispute in the whole 'coupon' area. A lot of us won't use Sainsbury or other supermarket coupons as this has led in the past to big crack downs by Tesco/Asda as they can't claim the money back whereas with the other coupons they send tem to a clearing house and get the money back. ( The exception to this is when Sainsbury offer money off whole spend coupons and tesco sometimes put up signs saying they accept them eg £5 off a £15 spend.) This seems to be the reason why some Tescos will take no coupons at all unless you buy the product.
The Tesco free mag ones won't work though unless you buy the product.
Depending on how much you've spent and how lax/kind the cashier is or the store's policy you may be able to pay for 10%, 20% or much more of your shopping. For instance yesterday I got £2.50 off of a £7 spend. For smaller purchases some self scans take coupons.0 -

Here's what it says in the Terms&Conditions:
This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, the purchase of gift vouchers, sale items, charity-related products or delivery charges. Offer ends 27th April 2008. Only one discount per person.
Maybe the code isn't active yet, maybe you should wait a couple of days and then try again? Just a thought.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
Got my April copies of Good Food and Olive mags this morning (on subscription).
Good Food (£3.10) has a coupon for a free pack of Bonne Maman galettes on page 140. The coupon is barcoded, worth 89p, and valid until 30th May. I am not sure whether this coupon will be in copies available in store though, mine is in a section called 'Subscriber extra'. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
There’s also a coupon for a free blueberry bush on page 86 (£3.69 p&p). The mag comes with a ‘Simply Seasonal’ recipe booklet.
Meanwhile, Olive (£3.20) comes with a chocolate recipe booklet (gorgeous pics, mmmmm ). Couldn’t see any coupons in it unfortunately. I’ll check again later.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
