Prima July £2.40
Bought this in Asda and it was in a bag with a complementary copy of Real People (may 31 issue - the one with the free Miss Sixty bag offer in it).
Subscription offer for £22 with Garnier UltraLift gift set worth £25 - eye cream, night cream, moisturiser.
Sachet of Loreal Revitalift.
Goody bag to send off for on p 82 - they call it free, but you must pay £4.45 for p/p. It consists of: 2 books - Queen of the Big Time, Adriana Trigliani and Bugatti Queen, Miranda Seymour; music CD - Walking on Sunshine; audio CD - The Tinder Box; pair of sunglasses; bottle of body cream. It sounds pretty good so think I will go for it. There are other things you can order alongside it if you want - jewellery, CD, kids books.
Offer for the 2007 copy of the Days Out Voucher Book - costs £3.95.0 -

Thanks for the investigation Quoia.
Mind you, don't think I could sit through POtC, given the reviews it's had!
Thanks - no I don't think I could either.
Re the FREE "YOU" & "LIVE" mags with the money-off coupons .....
I popped into my local Odeon again to see if any were "on display"
No luck but did speak to someone a bit more senior this time who DID KNOW about the promo.
He went and fetched a document that confirmed the Friday/Saturday nature of this and that the mags "in theory" are being handed out "to patrons on exit" by an external company (so not Odeon staff)
Apparently there should be 1 man and 1 woman - the man will target men and give them a copy of "Live" and the woman will hand "You" to female movie goers.
The promo did start about 2 weeks ago and will continue for another few weeks. BUT it is NOT in all Odeons simultaneously, there was a big list of participating Odeons and dates in May & June (at least)
Looks like it might be between 10 & 20 cinemas each weekend - some of them being repeated a 2nd time.
My local won't have any at all until next Fri/Sat, but it will be repeated the following Fri/Sat as well.
Hopefuly I can find some mags on display if there is a surplus after the handouts.

I would like to start by thanking everyone who has posted here recently. I’ve been away from this thread in the past few days, but now everything has gone back to normal. A warm welcome to the new contributors: you’re doing an excellent job, it would be great if you could keep posting. :T
I would also like to answer some questions which have been asked by several people recently. First of all, is there a mag which is consistently good in terms of cover gifts? I don’t think there is any, but I like the gifts I’ve got from Marie Claire, Glamour, In Style and Easy Living so far. I also like the fact that these mags send the gifts to subscribers too. Hope it’s the same with Marie Claire, I’m no longer a subscriber but I did get the gifts last year when I was a subscriber.
In terms of coupons for various freebies, usually skincare&cosmetics, within the mag: again, no mag is consistent. However, I’ve seen good coupons in Good Housekeeping, Easy Living and Glamour recently, and it also seems July’s Zest is pretty good, with a coupon for a free full size Biotherm Body Cream (check stockists' list before buying the mag though). I also liked the coupons I got with Marie Claire last year - remember the Boots freebie coupon, without which this magazine thread would probably not have started. As a personal favourite I would recommend Glamour. I subscribed last year (12 issues for £10 plus a Givenchy perfume – tip from Martin’s weekly email
), and wasn’t expecting much. I have to say I am very satisfied with this subscription – so satisfied that I renewed it this year (10 issues for £10 plus a Lanvin perfume this time
). They seem to publish freebie coupons very often, I’ve had lots of Biotherm, Benefit and Lancome samples (some of them deluxe size), and also a Mango shopping bag, with a coupon published a few months ago.
Re barcoded MOCs which can be used in supermarkets: like I said on another forum, I think Gardeners' World is quite good in terms of MOCs. There have been some high value coupons in the mag recently, some of which (not all) could also be found in copies bought in-store. I used to think Best was 'the best' lol, but they are not consistent: you may get some good barcoded MOCs this week, and nothing of interest for 2 or 3 weeks. Good Food and Olive often have coupons as well, but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) theirs are usually of a small value. Let’s hope Fresh mag will come with another bunch of good coupons in the following months.
Hope this helps. These are just my opinions anyway, maybe someone else thinks differently.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -

Just read your very good post thanks, in terms of the only name I have read which you said contains good free cover gifts & samples inside the mag would you say Glamour? As well as it being your personal favourite of course :-)
Where can I get a good subscription rate to this with a decent freebie? I'm not 100% sure weather to spend some of my Tesco points on a subscription or would I get a better deal elsewhere?
Thanks very much2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -
Has anyone bought the July issue of Fresh yet? A healthy choccie bar is not quite enough reason to buy, lol.So your answer don’t be scared of failure

Hi Yvonne,
You're welcome.Like I said earlier, these are just my opinions, but maybe they will help someone.
Both Glamour subscriptions I told you about were advertised in the magazine. They usually have some good offers inside, you just have to be quick to make sure you get the free gift (which is ‘subject to availability’). The June issue has an offer to get 12 issues for £18 plus some Rimmel London Sunshimmer tanning products. Offer expires 06/06/07, but I wouldn’t advise you to subscribe because the mag has been in store for some time, and the gifts might be exhausted by now. Tell me if you want details re this subscription anyway, and I’ll write them down for you.
The new issue should be out by the middle of June, and hopefully it will include a good subscription offer. I’ll post all the details after I get the mag by post.
You can also subscribe to Glamour through Nectar, and ‘pay’ 2,800 Nectar points for a 12 month subscription. No subscription gift in this case though.
