No Choccy whichwhatsoever .... Ha ha ... I was nearly being buried beneath the pile of magazines ... ran out of people to give them to ... have not resorted yet to doing a paper round ... but I'm not ruling it out

  • This morning I got my free(-ish, paid for a 1st class stamp) 'silver-plated' snowflake charm bracelet from 'love it!' magazine (the 35p edition a few weeks ago which I bought because it was 35p, and I had a Tesco till-spit for 25 points, and it had about £1.20-worth of vouchers in it and the charm-bracelet offer :D). It's really not bad (I'm pleasantly suprised - can you tell? Lol)! It's quite small so it might not fit everyone though (which would be annoying if you'd bought some of the charms to go with it). I'm chuffed - it feels like getting a little prezzie. :)

A big thank you and a very merry Christmas to everyone who posts on here (and thank you to MBN for keeping us all in order). I don't often post on this board but I do lurk a fair bit and I appreciate the information. :xmassmile

I'm the same.......I lurk around this thread!! I find it extremely useful and really appreciate the time people make to post all the MOC's/deals/freebies etc:T :T :T

I also recieved the bracelet today....it really is quite sweet. As I bought so many of the mags, I actually sent for 3, one for each of my children!!:j
If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

    My way is Atkins;)
  • Aww, they'll definitely be a nice prezzie for children (at least the size of the bracelet shouldn't be an issue). :) 'love it!' are really trying hard to get people to buy the extra charms, aren't they? Shhh, don't tell them that I only sent off for the bracelet because it was effectively freeeeeee! ;)
  • If anyone sees a mag with one of those desktop calendars (the sort that comes in a plastic frame and has a page/ card for each month that you take off when the month has finished) as a free gift, can you please post on here as I have one every year for my desk and mostly get a free one from a magazine (last year's was from Cross Stitching!).

Haven't seen any in the shops as yet!!

    Thank you!
  • It's not a magazine freebie but I think the Jack Daniel's calendar was a desk calendar last year (I'm personally not that happy with their privacy policy though). Here's the link on the freebie board:
