imho, find it hard to believe they could rush another print out so soon and the shops be able to clear the shelves, would have thought they would be busy printing the next issue anyway....goodluck if any manage to get them scanned for the max amount....hth

Something happened, because last weekend I couldn't get one for love or money in 2 local Tescos, but by Tuesday they had stacks of them.

Mine did scan for £2.60 on Asda on Friday, but someone on another thread pointed out that the reason they may now be scanning correctly is that there could be a new print run of magazines in which they have corrected the mistake.

No idea if this is true but it would make sense!!

No, you can tell from the barcode that it is a barcode error, should end 060x but it ends 260x (where x is any figure, doesn't matter as it's only a check digit).

What Tesco seem to have done is programmed their tills to recognise this coupon and read it as 60p, regardless of the barcode glitch. It's very possible, even probable, that it will still scan as £2.60 elsewhere, maybe at Asda, or Sainsburys if you can get it past the SA, (or at Waitrose if their tills scan coupons now rather than the SA having to put the amount in manually as they did last time I went there). Worth a try when away from Mr T I would think!

There are several prize draws/ competitions and other discounts in there.

Hope that non-subscribers can get hold of it too!!

Not having a good day today (told off at Tesco about coupon usage - grrr!) and had bought this magazine for 20% off Rohan, but no sign of the Christmas chequebook - I bought the December 07 edition, is this wrong or is the chequebook only for subscribers?

I wonder if it's only certain Tesco's who have been hit by it. They do a lot of that at local level. Anyone had success since Friday at £2.60 in Mr T's?
  • Best magazine snip and save free 1 litre bottle of candia long life milk not store specific, plus 30p off anchor butter and 20p of oz kleen. The rest of the coupons dont look very interesting.
