Complain or Report DCA activity

Who would you complaint to, or report DCA activity to that is falling foul of the OFT guidelines?
Do you report it to the original creditor, their own internal DCA departments, or external DCA's it has been passed around, or all of them? Or,
Do you report it directly to the OFT? To Trading Standards, or to the FS Ombudsman, the FSA or would that be the FCA now?

Complain to the DCA and the OFT immediately. If you don't have your complaint dealt with in a satisfactory manner after eight weeks then complaint to the FOS.What will your verse be?

Depends what they did.
I would complain to the DCA first, then tell them if they don't fix the issue you re complaining about or break the guidelines again then they will be reported to the OFT with no further warning.
Make it Lear you are very familiar with the guidelines:

Thanks guys! I have spent all day practically drafting letters to numerous DCA's and will do as you recommend.0

The OFT are national regulators for businesses that hold consumer credit licences but the day to day enforcement of the law is down to Trading Standards.
The FOS can resolve individual disputes between a consumer and a finance business.
So TS for general business practices and FOS for individual issues.
The FSA are now the FCA and the OFT credit functions will soon go to the FCA.
DCAs will be subject to general criminal law and the OFT guidance - when making a complaint it is best to be very specific about what your issues are.0
