Have full time job but need extra income

Hi this is my first post so please excuse me if I sound naive or silly.
I have just secured a full time job @ 6.30/hour 47 hour week so before tax and n.i £296.10 a week which works out at around £250 take home. I have a fianc! and daughter so we get £62 child tax and £63 working tax along with £20.30 child benefit.my daughter is only 7 months old so my fianc! will be a stay at home mum until our daughter is a bit older but we are looking to boost our income by between £25-£50 a week and my girlfriend said she would like to do something from home to help earn this.
Aside from telesales does anyone have any suggestions? We was thinking delivering the free local newspaper I know this pays around that per week and she can fit it around looking after our daughter. Chat lines and cams are a no go but any other advice appreciated!
Cheers

I was in a similar situation in need of extra income and something to keep me ticking whilst the OH is at work (til 9.15pm)
I got some info from my mate who buys and sells stuff. I now use http://www.i-bidder.com/en-gb to buy things and sell on eBay.
Obviously registered as self employed, started out with £50 late February and have turned over nearly £1,000 with gross profit of around £600.
I recommend it but there is obviously some risks involved but not too much with small start up capital like I did.0 -
Well I would say that same things that most people tend to say.
Have a look around this thread. Join swagbucks, survey sites, amazon affiliates, clixsense and others. I earn several hundred a month from these sites alone but I have no child to work it round. Surveys would perhaps be great for her as she can work them around your child.
Just look on this area of the site at some of the regular topics that people post in and you'll fine some fantastic sites. Good luck. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

How about leaflet delivery? Young mum round here does that with daughter in pushchair. Not sure on pay scale.
Also online Crowdology are taking people again, online surveys I have earned well from them, not shed loads but it all adds up and it is cash not vouchers, and you transfer to paypal when you reach £4 not like some of this sites that want to keep you waiting til you have 20 quid or more. Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0 -
I would say sign up at as many market research companies as you can. They will call you every now and then and you go in somewhere local and give your opinion on some products.Sometimes it's one on one and other times it's a group session but I have never been paid less than £40 for 2 hours. You cant rely on it but when it comes around it's great. if you sign up at an agency don't tell them that you have signed up for others. the industry standard is that you should only do a market research session once every 6 months - no more.0

Hi, have you tried to make some small cut backs rather than earning more?
Your home take in £250 + £62 + £63 + £20 = £395 per week or £20000 per year.
That is a huge sum in my opinion, You could budget and save some each month. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
