Re-Mortgage Brokers Advice

Having got L&C's free booklet on re-mortgaging, I have asked L&C and Savills to look in the following:-
1) Fixed Mortgage for either 3 / 5 years
2) Re-mortgage or £112,980 over 24 years
3) Repayment loan
4) Tie In's OK for the three or five years
Has anyone shed some info on the?
1) Rough costings expected through valuation and legal fees
2) How much you would expect in commission
3) Any loopholes to watch out for
4) Is it better to go for 5 years fixed as by the time you add all the costs up in re-mortgaging you need at least a couple of years i.e 3+
5) Could you get the info from them and then go direct to the lender (cut out commision)
6) Monthly or Annual Interest what is real cost
7) How long the process takes
If anyone can offer any advice I would appreciate it - I know I have asked alot of questions but any help would be great!
Cheers,
Albert

What is the value of the property?
What are your earnings - roughly?
Who is your current lender?
These are questions that would need answers to enable someone to give some feedback to you.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
