I got my £20 cheque ok.But it took 2 months to come.Longer than any other cashback site.I,m up to 235 points again,so I will keep on going for another year I suppose, though I hardly ever take up any of there offers and a lot of there deals seem a bit suspect anyway.
  • I am currently more concerned about there inability to pay out. I cashed out my 3000 points in early July opting for Paypal to eliminate the possibility of a lost cheque in the post and come the end of July nothing-not a sausage. I opened a "support ticket" (I use the term extremely loosely hence the speech marks) on the 2nd of August and once again - nothing, no reply no contact. I added to my "support ticket" 3 additional pleas for assistance and once again - nothing. I opened a 2nd "support ticket" thinking that possibly my 1st had been lost somewhere in the system and they were unable to reply or respond to it and once again my 2nd ticket received the same response as the 1st - absolutely nothing. It has been over 2 months since I cashed out and at least 4 weeks since according to their own blurb/T's&C's that I should have received my payout.
Any suggestions apart from writing to their Head Office?
    Regards
    Draco

They do their Paypal payments at month-end. However, if you are within 5 days of month-end, it rolls-over to the next month-end payout.

Not very helpful when waiting for much needed funds.
    Never Knowingly Understood.

  • I don't know what is happening with Mutual Points, every couple of weeks their page can't be displayed. I am waiting for payment from them, once this has hopefully been paid I'm leaving them, they've become very unreliable. I did a survey about 7 months ago via one of their e-mails and was supposed to receive 150 points for doing so - this would have reached the limit for payout. The points were never added to my account (as has happened before) so I sent them a message via their site and heard nothing. I wrote 3 more times, still nothing, so I had to just wait until their e-mails ofering 5 points brought me to the £20 threshold.

Get your act together Mutual Points. :(

  • I haven't had any e-mails off them in month, just a few points short of getting £25.00 but doubt i'll ever get them so asked to cash out to paypal. Hopefully won't have an issue.

They never did answer my support ticket, I sent it through four times in the end. I reached 3,000 points and was supposed to receive payment by paypal at the end of September, but it's not been paid in. What's going on with them?

That's why I requested payment by Paypal, but they haven't paid the £20 into my Paypal account as they were supposed to do at the end of September, so I'm beginning to get a bit suspicious. :(

  • I looked into the company behind the site:

June 2009: on the progressive digital media website investor relations page in the document titled TMN readmission document.pdf:

TMN Media – email marketing and website publishing
TMN Media specialises in email and website marketing, with access to highly profiled, permission-based
email addresses, millions of visitors to its websites and distribution technology that ensures strong
deliverability. TMN Media manages a comprehensive portfolio of email databases in the UK and offers a full
online advertising solution. TMN Group also operates websites including MutualPoints and Plum Prizes.

The Company currently has the following significant subsidiaries:

TMN Media Limited 3777109 Active England & Wales 100

MutualPoints Limited 3920452 Active England & Wales 100

And in the interim results for 2013 (PDM-Interim-2013.pdf):

    8. Discontinued operations
On 1 April 2012 the Group made the decision to close the TMN email marketing business unit, including the TMN, EDR and TAPPS businesses. The TMN email marketing division formed part of the Group’s B2C Digital Marketing division. Therefore, pursuant to the provisions of IFRS 5 the operation has been classified as discontinued.

It may be worth contacting the parent company for clarification - contact details from the Mutual Points T&C's page cached on Google 4th Oct 2013:
