Finding a good private GP?

Has anyone experienced private GPs, how do you find a good one? I am looking for an older aunt in West Yorkshire.

They have them at my local Spire private hospital, I don't know how you would know whether they are good or not, they operate exactly the same as consultants in that they have their NHS surgery and private surgery.
Perhaps if she knows of a local GP with a good reputation she can find if she/he does a private surgery too?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
It's the same GP's as you see in the practices only they rent a room at the local private hospital, in my case this is also Spire, I have used them to get a smear every year instead of 3-5 years.
