Hi
I have had my mortgage accepted by Portman and now all they require is i send my 2 latest bank stataments in as i have already sent all other info.
I was just wondering is their any chance i could get denied if they dont like what they see on my stataments?
the reeason i ask is because i do like to have abet or 2!! mainly on party poker , nothing to crazy however there is quite a few transactions on there.

its normal for them to ask for statements, as long as you run your account within its limits you should be fine.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Why do they want to see bank statements?
Are they looking for mortgage payments?
Are the looking for income payments?
Normally they would ignore personal things.

the lender asks for them as standard unless you are putting a 25% deposit down. It is not a reflection on you.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. yes as I said its pretty standard stuff. They want to make sure that you are operating your account within the permitted levels agreed with your bank - i.e not going outside your overdraft each month. It also helps them see your wages going into the bank.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
