I know most people will want to reply 'you'll have to read back' etc to this question, but really it's not feasible to search several threads of 10,000 posts each!

I have been reading and have seen posts but I didn't note them at the time. My mistake.

1p chocs - is it possible someone could post a list of the known ones, please? Martins email doesn't feature many and I've stood in two stores today doing searches and failing to get very far very fast.

If someone could please list the known ones I'm sure that would help lots of us. Thank you all

squills I predict a riot! If your wife has said no, and you did it anyway :naughty: honesty is the best policy in these situations, I think. How understanding us your wife?

    I'll be honest.

In about 3 or 4 months.

I got away with it last year so fingers crossed.

The good thing is: her mother is 80 and fading fast and I can very happily get her mother (my MIL lol) to see the kids 5 times in 10 days, she's not so bad as they go plus we don't share a common language which helps a bit of deaf ear :D

As in: I will go fetch my MIL in my wife's absence and make sure she enjoys her grandchildren's company in her final years.

That little fact will come in use at the right time.

I've found numerous but I know of others I read about but only recall vague details. I'm not lazy, I work long hours and struggle to keep track of half of the thread, which is why I post so rarely. I'd love to have the time to spend on here that many of you have but yes I am lucky enough to have a good but busy job. It would be nice if people could be a bit more helpful on here to those who politely ask for help instead of the 'I know but so am not telling you' attitude of so many. It makes me feel like not sharing if I discover something. Come on guys, don't be so cliquey and be nice, please?

Hi Chris, it's a hard balance to strike between advising someone to do a search and giving too much info in one place... I would never advocate a list all in one place as it does make it too easy for people that don't contribute (I don't mean you lol!:o) to take the info and quickly clear the shelves.

I will give you one though lol... Tesco Finest Chocolate Collection 155g bc 0993 small pink box.

    :D

Does this offer price include insurance? My friend got bought one of these and when they phoned to book at the Lancashire, Three Sisters venue they wanted around £100 ish (can't remember exact figure but it was a lot) for insurance.

Hope it's been included for you in your deal price but may be worth double checking.

Thank you Lisa, as it happens that's the one I will be going to  I will check it out

not having much luck, are you? :(
  • Just did a little tour of the nearby stores once the LO was in bed and managed to get a good stash of 1p choc. Just the cadbury thank you and Thorntons 'I love mum' so nothing new to report back. (Scanned a couple of easter and xmas products but still showing as sale price).

Also got the 1p Turkish delight in the pink hexagonal box bc ending 059112. Forget who mentioned them on here but thank you!

When I got to this till I started scanning my 38 items and the SA came to me so I thought it was game over. Instead she counted how many of each kind I had and entered the number for me, even smiled at me when she saw it came to 38p :)

In the next store where I got the turkish delight, the 'assistance needed' message came on the self scanner. The lovely SA there saw they were 1p and laughed saying they're probably toxic!

Nice SA's working the late shift tonight :)
