I have thrown about 4 or 5 boxes of grass seed on a few patches probably 8-9 sq metres in total. Would have been a few pounds more to buy turf if I had went for it and all that has come through so far is weeds :rotfl::rotfl:

What confuses me, is how come those strips of grass outside peoples homes, between the path and the road, dont have the bare patches, what sort of grass is that as I want that!

Oh, they were 10 for a fiver at the garden centre today.

Do 4pm for the 50% but what time for the bad boy discounts?? (surrup David., Im trying to learn from the master, not the apprentice ;))

I can't help. Whoopsies are totally random here. We have alot of 50% buyers :mad: if they just left it We'd all get it cheaper

I've just been lucky with the plants....I have noticed they reduce plants in the day rather than at night. In my store, they're always at the front with the flowers

Speaking of plants, does anyone else have a citrus tree?? I found loads of sort of (cross between caterpillars and earwigs) animals with a cotton wool sort of mess around them and what looked like babies on my tree yeaterday. Had to don the gloves and go squishing, but I gather now, that is what has been hurting my poor tree.

I have a miniature lemon tree. Nothing gross has ever grown on it  I put it in the porch in summer and it smells wonderful.

What did you squish ? moths? butterflies? some pest I don't know about?

OMG predictive is getting out of hand now. I typed pests and it changed to oestrogen :eek: how can that be
