ho hum, I'm off for a wander around my garden, whilst I'm there I can have a quick ciggie and a coffee :D
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

  • I've just been to Tesco. No sign of any 1p chocs. So I bought 12 cans of Parioli tomatoes instead. I used 12 printed off vouchers (inside Good Food Mag online). Went through a normal till and the nice SA didn't bat an eyelid. Amount paid? zero

    Mortgage-free Glee!
4 Blossom hill mini bottles, 2 Montepulciano, 2 melting middle desserts, any 2 mains, any 2 starters. (10 different items altogether). I add a couple of 10p sweets to make 12 items just in case.

Approx £20- cost and a £9 pp back.

Im persuming this won't work here in Scotland being that we can't be trusted to buy six bottles of wine at one time so we dont get discount ?

    TIA

I too love going to the dentist, but unfortunately it's always for him to do some work to stop the inevitable pain that I always get in with my teeth. I was never structured growing up to do them and as such have an awful misshaped bite. I also grind my teeth apparently. Now I have had 6 extreactions, nion every tooth filled, another one currently dying and plenty of root canals. I don't even have the needle for fillings as it doesn't bother me.

What does bother me, however, is that I have been quoted £32K to get upper and lower done in porcelain. If anyone sees a glitch on this, let me know! :o:rotfl:

YOu can keep your BMWs etc, I just want some new teeth!

    Nice new tooth implant:)

Angelsmadv have you thought of going to have implants done in poland. Lady at my art group was very pleased. Think she paid £800 for one but I know if you have several done at once for instance the front 4 it is a lot cheaper as do not need inplant screw for every tooth, I beleive you can have front 8 done on 4 screws.
    Personally thrilled with mine.

Artha the problem with wh is they do a credit search which shows on your credit report. The check is just to verify the named person lives at the address stated.
I didn't get this when withdrew from pp but when I checked my latest report I saw wh had. Have withdraw from wh, pp and bgo.

    Afternoon all,

Just to be clear, it's not a credit search, it's an AML check (ID Verification) which although will be listed on your credit file with the CRA's, it cannot be seen by any other party searching your file and therefore has no detrimental effect as credit searches do.

Great news! :T:T I'm really glad yours went well. It is the one area of my body I'm not fond of. The other areas aren't brilliant, but my teeth let me down, personally. I haven't started to look yet as there are more important matters (like bringing my family up) but I will be when I do, eventually, have some decent amount of funds.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
