    Good mornig Elite :hello:

Another lovely sunny day :j my first task for this morning, I have to drive DH to the docs as his leg has swollen up and he can't put any weight on it

Which reminds me, FloFlo, have you got an appointment today?

Catch you all later, back off to have a quick catch up before I head out :D

Back from docs, saw different doctor, chest still sounds clear but has given me pholcodine to suppress cough and booked in for chest x ray tomorrow to be sure.

Having a quiet morning while DD is at nursery. Should really be doing some housework, but have a serious case of cba  :rotfl:

  • Morning all.

Thought the time is right to put a few of you onto Head for Points.

This will really only be of interest to people who collect T CC points, airmiles/Avios and those who are members of hotel loyalty schemes, so the rest of you look away now :)

Run by Raffles, Head for Points gives virtually daily tips by email on how to collect airmiles/ Avios, loyalty points and T CC points. It's really high quality stuff with good information. Plus there is an active webpage and discussion forum.

As Raffles says: I have redeemed over 3 million British Airways Executive Club and bmi Diamond Club miles over the last decade. I currently have over 2.5 million Avios points and 6 million airline, hotel and credit card points in total.
You don’t get to those sort of numbers without learning a few tricks of the trade, which I hope to share here.

He clearly knows what he is talking about

For anybody interested, I suggest you have a look at the HFP site http://www.headforpoints.com/about-this-blog/ and http://www.headforpoints.com/ - plus sign up for the emails - subscribe here http://www.headforpoints.com/contact/

I'm not Raffles by the way! Just happy to endorse a really neat site.

    Morning all.
Just seen on Ts website (don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet) it looks like the HH vouchers are back again but you have to spend £40 to get one this time
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

My DH used to get that from my eldest, but overtime he came round and accepted DH. These days he is of the opinion that DH has been more of a father to him than his 'real' dad.
So just hang in there, it will turn around x

I used that on my wifes son 8 years ago when he was 9. He soon came to realise that he was better off behaving himself.
He's now a 6' 7" Brick outhouse and as good as gold.(thank god!)
When there're young they can't understand situations. In their teens, it seems to get worse, but when they get to 17/18, they can see the situation for what it is. You'll be fine. :)
Thanks for the words, AJ. It's a shame he keeps resorting to it whenever he gets in a mood. I know I have to stop reacting to it and that will probably solve it.

Been lurking on and off today :o
[...] DH at work every day, Mum working every day, MIL only has 2 days off and has her own things that need doing and sis working every morning. Hopefully weather will be good enough that DS1 can play in the garden or i'll have to muddle through with endless runs of Toy Story.... :rotfl::o
HI lurker! :T Reruns of Toy Story are not to be sniffed at. DS1, when little, watched Nemo 50 times a day - now it's anythign to do with Zombies, guns, knifes and any other such violence

DODO Keep up the good work with TS; I'm sure she appreciates all you do.
    ella2002 Welcome.

Right I'm up to page 362 - back later to catch up further. I have the Monday morning R&D meeting!

    Morning

Lovely and sunny again here at the minute :T

Had a lovely sleep thanks David. ;)

Am managing here at the moment :) DS1 is having a great time. Persuaded him to watch Robin Hood instead of Toy Story :jIt's one I used to watch when I was young but haven't seen for years.

He has his tunnel and tent full of bricks and diggers and bowls of snacks and juice :D DS2 just gone down for a nap so should be able to have a cuppa and little rest now for an hour or so :T

Glad you're getting a proper check up Flo. Hopefully the new cough medicine will help you to get some rest :)
