Credit rating might not be so good though if you've not got debt and shown you are able to pay it off on time. DW was refused a M&S card for that reason as everything used to be in my name:):)
I know. But I don't need a credit rating. I really never want another debt in my life ever. Thanks to my lovely dad and the France house sale, which is wisely invested and tucked away....I *should* be comfortable from now on in. Me and OH have good pensions to come in out later years.

I'm fortunate (or have planned and saved wisely) enough not to require getting any debt but I like to maintain a good credit score so I can take out new credit cards on a regular basis to earn cashback through TCB/Quidcofairclaire wrote: »I know.
