I found this lot at around that time, went to my local T and came home with a few trays and a couple of 4p shirt/tie sets. Went back the next day and it had more or less been cleaned out

It too me a while to do the clipstrip thing- I had to plead my case as I found a new 4p item and an empty clipstrip but no actual clipstrip items for ages- then I found a whole strip of lucozades but the comp was closed :(

    #65

    I know how you feel,
I can remember getting the iron cleaning cloths, gel air fresheners , descaling tablets and croc odour bin fresheners.
Not to mention the loo rolls and demister pads....:rotfl:. And i found all of that after comp was closed.

Let's hope more clipstrips items go to 1p, eventually. No working scanners in my local stores though:(

    The competition could be restarted?:)

Wow, we only had it fried for Sunday tea time, just the clootie dumpling, when we were kids. Not had it for years.

In this area (and maybe other areas?) folks used to use up old Christmas cake by slicing and frying it. Seemed to be a common "bait" item along with cold tea for the blast furnace workers at the former steelworks in Hartlepool:)
    Awaiting a new sig
