No it isn't - but neither Tesco nor Morrisons actually specified that the vouchers had to be brand spanking new. I know that they probably did mean that but they didn't say so and they were just trying to poach each others customers and get them in their own store. I know quite a few guys shot over to the Emerald Isle when one of their Sainsbury stores tried the same game - and there was some chat going on at the time about digging out old Club Card vouchers.ELITE 5:2

Absolutely agree with you but, since we are talking about APG usage, how did people go about using APG's in Tesco ( when they were daft enough to accept them and didn't even want to look at the receipts never mind sign them - or check if Asda had already signed them). Tesco clearly weren't going to get anything back on the APG's and were just binning the vouchers - a bit like the brief period a while back when Morrisons decided to accept Club Card vouchers (with no way of knowing if they had already been redeeded online).
I can't promise that I was QUITE so 'moral/honest' then as I did feel that Tesco and Morrisons were really breaking the rules themselves and deserved to be treated in the same way. Also although they did adveertise that they would accept the vouchers, they didn't actually state in the T&C's that they had to be 'virgins'.
You have to live with your conscience plus of course the law.
APGs and many other vouchers are simple to photocopy and these days a photocopy looks identical to the original.
I could go out tomorrow and mug a feeble old pensioner for £20 - but I don't.
Morally - that would be not only wrong but obnoxious.
I prefer to stay legal and preserve a bit of self respect.0 -
