streetlights wrote: »Hi David. I am still building up to that, getting one shop is still very stressful. I think we would be able to identify any of the elite shoppers by their counting methods. Failing that looking in trolley is the next best thing.
Go and buy 2 carrots 2 bags
count
2 onions 2 bags
count
2 flumps no bags
count
etc
count
get to till 2 identical shops on conveyor
real panic
count again
watching till to make sure they all register
hang onto receipts like they are actually worth something
Go home check on here that it is still working every 10 minutes.

Right - we have a bit of a glitch, and an item that's still functioning as a 'trigger' (shop done at 7.50pm tonight) - Northern Ireland can also join in as it's vs Sains.:
It's 'decided' to flip to Sainsbury's (the comp vs T has come up with T exactly the same price as A) - the trigger is the Nestle Smarties cones 4 pack (unfortunately they are £1.00 in T, hence why I've lost on the other hand getting £2.00 A individual price on them vs T's £1.00 (until 15/4)) - but - Quorn Family Roast is part of same multibuy - it's £3.00 each or any 2 for £3.00 (yes - same price for 1 or two!) - but, in effect, I got a free Smarties cones pack, to piggyback on that Family Roast - receipt has discount of £2.00 for the "2 for £3.00" multibuy and buying just 1 Quorn roast has compared at full price to Sainsbury's cheaper price of 1 at £2.20 (N/A at T, not 1p glitch unfortunately).
Why £1.16?

1 x ASDA Smartprice Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix (85g)£0.15£0.15
1 x ASDA Smartprice Tomato Soup (400g)£0.24£0.24
1 x ASDA Smartprice Vegetable Soup (400g)£0.24£0.24
1 x ASDA Smartprice Perfumed Toilet Cleaner with a Pin...£0.27£0.27
1 x Barratt Flumps Mallow Twists£0.10£0.10
1 x Haribo Tangfastics Mini£0.10£0.10
1 x Quorn Family Roast (454g)£3.00£2.20
1 x ASDA Smartprice Sliced Carrots in Water (300g)£0.20£0.20
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant White Mice Bar (15g)£0.10N/A
Comparison total (compared products only)£4.30£3.50
I bought a flump and white mice bar, among other things - I'm learning!! Didn't need the mice though - total bill was £4.40 - could have had it at £4.30 with the £1.16 back - not too bad!
[Edit: So, any of your Sains. shopping can go on this shop - like the Sada Power Scourers (6) that are £1.98 but compare against a lower range product at S 90p - or, if we can't currently get any cheaper and if needed, A SP Loo Rolls £1.96 - with the two frozen items and remembering the Smarties cones aren't 1 of the 8, and don't need as many fillers if buying the other 'normal' needed items, and doing so, here, on the right shopping!]0 -
