£4.99 (at the competitor) is my maximum limit now on these 75cl wines as 10% off that means it costs around £4.49 - and there's 75cl wines sometimes at slightly lower prices than that (...or you can find a £4.49 wine at a rival and compare to that, it's then just over £4). For example, there are a lot of other wines available in M's at around or below the £5 mark, but for my "M cheaper" list, I've now decided to select only some of the cheapest ones, as showing all brands, which are going in increasing pricing from £3 to £4 to £5, isn't going to be money-saving! (Ignoring the possibility of wine deals and what's included/excluded in them, replacing a £3 wine with a £5 one makes no sense in pure money saving terms.) Of course none of this unfortunately can account for extra points, money off, comparisons etc. that you may have available!

£4.99 for 3/4 of a litre of wine

    £1.35 for 1 litre petrol

£30 for 1 litre of sun cream

    You go figure :D

  • Hi all!

I'm a newbie to the site but already managed to get some good bargains thanks to your posts!

Got loads of 1p chocs earlier in the week, 112 in total! My OH came home from work and bought me a bar of chocolate from the shop as a little treat, don't think he could believe it when I brought 8 carrier bags of chocolate in from my car and told him it only cost me £1.12 for the lot!

I'm amazed I was able to get away with buying so much, had to do 3 trips through self service pushing a small trolly with my baby boy in it in his car seat covered in chocs!

This got me hooked so I did a little tour of my local stores. Managed to get 6 of the chocolate bus tins @ 1p each, 2 pairs of kids wellies @ 4p each, 4 pairs of kids slippers @ 4p each, and a selection of kids fancy dress outfits in various sizes @ 4p also!

Feels like you're doing something naughty when you see 1p flash up on the till!

Thanks for all your posts, any bargains I can get will make all the difference while I'm on maternity leave.

If I see any good offers I'll be sure to share! :)
Welcome Lisa. Now you've posted once, you'll never stop!:)
