Has anyone heard from markz123 lately? Wonder how he's doing

Did a search and Mark posted yesterday, that's a relief.

First I went to Lidl this morning to buy some of the half price bacon and sausage and my eyes were treated to the sight of a youngish woman about 20 in her night attire. She looked a right sight, nothing matched and her red spotted fleecy dressing gown was dirty lol

Then I went to The Body Shop with my printed off email which entitled me to a free 200g body butter when buying a £5 one. Girl wouldn't give me discount by me being able to use my love your body card nor would she stamp it . I'm not sure if this is right or not so I ll have a look of their website and see what they say. They are as nice as pie when you buy something normally but if your try for an offer or anything free they change into someone who thinks they're paying for it huh.

Picked up my stepping stool from Dunelm Mill on my way to the gym. It seems a bargain for £1.24 she tried to charge me the full £4. 90 odd but didn t get very far. By the time I'd got to the gym I felt as though I'd already been.:o
  • Reading some of the feedback/ reviews on TCB, it looks as if you might be well advised to again log into any site that requires you to be an active user, even if you satisfied the minimum stake requirements - if it has not tracked yet.

I have a few like that eg Eurogrand, Showreel, Jackpot247.

Logging in means you are still active I guess.

Has anyone got any experiences of what GreenFlag are like as a UK and European breakdown organisation please?

When my Dad was alive he was a breakdown/recovery driver for a garage that had a contract with Greenflag amongst others.

We have also been with them in the past and had a good service from the local companies they use. Wasn't anything serious with our car (think I'd locked keys in car IIRC :o)

I guess service could be hit and miss on where you break down though.

Don't think that helps much :o:p

Thanks Logie. I'm assuming that they don't have a dedicated team of their own vehicles and as you say contract it out to local recovery garages. I've been with the AA for 23 years(Gold Membership) and generally get a good deal after complaining/negotiating at renewal and saves the uncertainty of cashback. Offers this year aren't so good and the AA/RAC seperate European cover is quite pricey. I would guess that for European cover AA/RAC/Greenflag they are all using the same contract agents in France.

Have been with them a few years as get good cashback and always seem cheaper.
Luckily haven't had to call them out though so can't comment on service.

Anyone after a case for all types Kindle or ipads, they had some at 70% off in my local Sainsburys, may be store specific though.
Got one for my Kindle Fire for £6.99 from about £23 made by trendz - very good quality b/c 030578 860039.
