I am in one group and could not honestly tell you who "The Leader" is. It is a group where people seem to express their opinion and c'est ca. All deals that I have ever seen were on here and vice versa. There is nothing nasty or underhand about it at all afaik.

No more facebook bashing or I'll come after you with a big stick!!!

As long as the FB groups and MSE group are not mutually exclusive then there is no problem as far as I can see. I must admit that I've never understood or got involved in any of the politics that seem to pervade the FB groups and why they started ... being a simple, easy going lad I don't want to be. I'm hope that they can co-exist in a friendly, supportive, sharing manner and people use them for good practical reasons rather than because of petty unimportant differences...real life is much more important and too short for that sort of thing.

Strange, when I use smaller glasses, the wine lasts longer.

The thing my dad used to send me for, which would seem bizarre to most folks these days, was for one single edged razor blade. I remember they were very thick, almost like a modern day stanley knife blade, and lasted for ages.

Was it to fit in a cutthroat razor, or hair trimmer.

I had a busy day moving lounge furniture round and spring cleaning then had another habitat unit ( ebay bargain) delivered.
My friend/ handyman is coming to do a few jobs for me tomorrow including clearing out garage and taking rubbish to tip, putting up some shelves and a light and now furniture had been moved he needs to move sky cable to reach tv.
Last week I paid him for his time in cheese and chocolate biscuites (and some nivea face cream but ssh on that as he will be embarassed).

So my problem is what do I pay him with this week? Coke, have wine but he prefers red, more biscuits. He wouldnt have wanted 1p chocs and any fancy dress he would want in adult sizes.

Think I might let him do a generation game type 60 second recall of what is in cupboard and he can have one of each he remembers or maybe a couple of COT's t 's meal deals with extra mini blossom hill bottles.
Shame he doesnt drink white or rose as have plenty.

Answers on a postcard please ( keep it clean DM please as he is a friend with benefits but house repair benefits not bedroom ones:rotfl:)

So sorry for greenfingers and dsg losses. My dd lost a friend and work colleague this week which was very sad.

Logie glad you popped up for a quick hello. Lots of snuggle time with children, know it is not as easy now baby H is crawling though. Has your dh got the taste for whoopsies after his tiger loaf?
Dd having the same problem with baby formula as all baby events are on but sado have taken theirs off the 2 for offer and are just selling it cheaper. She said sada had new stock in tonight so hope you manage to find some.
