this morning while out at work.
Also got a Spider-Man non folding scooter for £3.75 and an Emmi dolls travel system pram for the same.
Mermaid Barbies are £4.99 from £22.
And 2 of each of the dressing up outfits, cheerleader, Peter Pan and a yellow one with a bear on the front and an apron all 4p each.
I'd found nothing until today, the SA was putting the dress up out and I took all but one of them. A little girl was looking at the yellow one and asked her mum could she have it but her mum said no I can't afford it. I told her how much it should go through at but she looked at me as if I was mental and walked away. I bought it and went up to the woman afterwards and gave her it along with the receipt, she couldn't believe it was so cheap, I also told her about the chocs and again showed her the receipt but warned her to put them through self serve as fast as she could and on their own. I walked away with a smile on my face as the little girl was so pleased with her outfit.
well done you :T0 -

This was such a nice thing to do, and gives that feel good for doing it too:j:jfairclaire wrote: »What a lovely thing to do SD
It was seeing the little girl's face when she was so upset that got me, looking at the woman it looked like she really couldn't afford to buy it at the price it was marked (I know looks can be deceptive but she was counting out what she had in her purse and taking things out of her trolley muttering about how it could wait until next week).
I really felt for her, this had been me up until just over 2 years ago. I used to have to account for every penny and stick to the lists I made when shopping, I just wish I'd found you guys sooner as I just missed the big DTD glitch. Any spare cash we had after buying essentials went on bills or clothes for DS.
Thinking about it now I hope I didn't offend or embarrass herSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Got trouted by CS today. Can't really reveal details but I'm 100% in the right with evidence to help. T failing to observe consumer law, I think TS will take an interest.
Just going to wait my time then unleash the dogs of war at an appropriate juncture.
Other than that...
Good evening, all:beer::cool::rotfl::cool::beer::D
Last time I got TS on the case was when the savvy DTD got summarily cancelled. TS took quite an interest and it clearly cost T a fair bit in legal fees before they managed to persuade TS to drop it.
Well I'm about to do it again because when I pay for goods with points on (inducement to purchase I think they call it) I expect to get those points.0 -

Absoloutely no way you could've embarrassed her, what a lovely gesture SD."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough
