    Morning all,
what am I missing with the cat food please, ?????

Sheba meaty chunks only salmon flavour only as far as I know. Buy in As compares to 15p a tray in Ts. Buy 10 if you find them ;) . Discontinued I think, so lucky if you find it. I haven't :( good luck!

    How are your kittens?

Going out shortly but just catching up in hope - theres usually a glitch when I'm out so trying to beat it :rotfl:Last time got the DVD's but didn't find out re 1p chocolate until I got back.

Just waiting for the banana and choc chip muffins to come out of the oven. Still haven't got my memory back so last couple of times I have forgotten a key ingredient (ie sugar - twice). Determined to get it right this time - got them all out and measured before school run then did them on my return - feeling really pleased with myself. But just found the third banana which somehow I forgot to peel and add (doh they were all together :o). Still greater chocolate to banana ratio.....:D

Had to laugh normally its a rush re school run but getting up early has solved that - DD "we seem to have a lot of time today"as she practices her recorder, me "Do we" ;).

Thank god in a way I checked facebook to see a mum posted re nits in DS class (not sure I'd post it there if mine had em) and checked his hair before 7.30 - phew non of the critters thank god (DD has hair to waist nearly, would not be good ).

I'll probably run out of batteries by 7pm.

Logie - sorry you are feeling poorly its the last one I know so just needs enduring. So pleased you got to have :j. You are doing so well hope - hope MiL can get there soon.

Only tip I can give is as you get your strength back you are tempted to get on with things and then run out of energy - so remember always keep half in the tank! (wished someone had said that earlier). This is especially hard to do if you have kids but you need that half in the tank for your body recovery. Just keep reminding people that although treatment is finished you still need their help. So if you are about to start a task after doing lots of others - take a break! If you can still get up after break carry on otherwise stay seated!! Sending lots of love and hugs :T:A

    Morning all..

My DW told me about a fantastic app last night called Viber. For those of you that already know about it, ignore this post and read on. For those of you that haven't..

Viber is an app that you can install on you smartphone. It allows you to make FREE telephone calls and send FREE texts and pictures to other smartphones anywhere in the world. The only conditions are..

    1. Both mobiles have to have the Viber app installed.
    2. Both mobiles have to be connected to the internet via a wireless broadband connection.

So, if you have any relatives abroad or if you mostly call people who are generally connected wirelessly to a broadband connection, this app could probably save you a load of cash.

The reason I am so excited by this app is that I am off with the family to Majorca for a couple of weeks next month and we will be leaving my MIL home alone. The plan is that I give her my mobile and we take DW’s with us and pay the hotel for internet access whilst we are there (this was the plan anyway). Now, we can phone the MIL or she can phone us any time for free and it takes a bit of the worry out of going abroad.

BT Smart Talk is also worth looking at. Load it onto your smartphone before you go away, then you can use it to make calls that are charged as if you were calling from your home phone. So abroad on wifi you can make free calls to all UK landlines and 7p a minute to mobiles if you have the BT anytime package. Advantage of Viber is that the recipient doesn't need to have a smart phone or have any special App.

Rude awakening DM woke me up then Blackberry called about the mobile. teskies must have contacted them. The guy is calling back.

Unexpected payable TCB from last August from Npower. Had lost hope on that one. Now swapped in to CC points.

Starting second job tonight. So had hoped for more sleep. Oh well

Went to a different T's extra yesterday with my dd. No 1p/4p items :(

Did find these for 23p each :-

Also got a couple of the Blue dragon sauces to try from sains along with some more bavaria for my OH. Noticed that their huggies newborn nappies are £1.24. Mr shoes also had the huggies size 4+ and 5s for £2.17 for the carry packs (picked up the remaining 3 sized 5s for my dd :)

Paid sada a visit too but just got 8 single little swimmers with the starter kit mocs. Picked up a not 10% cheaper rec that gave me 36p :j
