    BTW my Caesars palace bingo which became payable yesterday is now on hold due to inconsistencies. It's put me off now trying another bingo............

    Tesco made an offer to purchase, when the price came up at the till. You accepted that offer when you paid and your receipt is proof that the shoes are yours.     The price displayed is an invitation to treat
    The offer of purchase is made by the customer presenting 4p
    Contract closed when the 4p is accepted and you are given a receipt

    Either way what happened was theft pure and simple
