Now I have got rid of the diesel, I have 50 litres of the stuff in the garage. Probably just take it up the pub, as that would last me a life time!AngelsMadv wrote: »I wombled two of these in a trolley the other night - I don't have a chip pan anymore so it will last ages!

Nice try
On Tuesday 9th I tried the rice krispies v m and they didn't compare.
On Friday 12th they compared.
This is it (what I wanted to reply to). Apparently if the price the APG collectors collect (for that's what they do!:rotfl:) for an item is significantly different from its price over the preceding weeks, it goes into a special 'approval' system where they check the price for M is correct. Whilst awaiting this approval, so I understand, it returns N/A. More information from the Advertising Standards watchdog here: http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2011/2/ASDA-Stores-Ltd/TF_ADJ_49664.aspx (e.g. Response, paragraph 1.)
If a product is 20% different in price than before - which would include these half price offers on cereals - my understanding is it is verified by MSM and, if that's so, this may explain the non-picking up of the Rice Krispies till later in the week, and also the N/As on half price Crunchy Nut Cornflakes in previous months and the 400g Quality Street/Roses/Heroes when they were half price and 3 for 1. To me it seems to be the 'flash offers' that tend to have this situation - those that are half price at M for only a week.0 -
