these kids pay £60 a term for passes there is no proper college bus yet new rules say they have to pay if they dont go on 1 bus at 7.40 then home at 5.00 surely if they take 1 journey to college and another home they have paid there pass so it should not matter what time they go :mad::mad::mad: sorry rant over
Very silly and annoying, but how lovely that you were there to fight her corner. Good for you! :T xxHope is not a strategy.0 -

it's ok when it works, but at certain times it dips to mega slow and sometimes drops out altogether. Ive been complaining at BT for ages. They admit theres a problem in this area and have compensated me for it. They say a combination of cable theft and work to upgrade the exchange, which is now done and why I can finally upgrade. We can't get cable here either
From the chat a few weeks back maybe more, 12-16 is only a dream to many and that would be super amazingly fast broadband.
Past a certain speed it is only any use if you are downloading massive files as you say.
But if it is the same price etc why not.I think its a case of if you have never had superfast you dont know what you are missing.
We have the slowest connection ever as we are miles from our junction box and ok sometimes we do have some very bad days but these are unusual and often its only an hour or 2.
But despite this both main computers run without problems, one shiny new and one old and decrepit plus the iPad, these 3 on all day, most days plus whatever else is connected - laptops, kindle, net books etc. in theory it should not work at all and sky have said to us it wont work but it does and mostly without any problems.
Thanks for the replies, I thought I was missing out on something0 -
Afternoon all
Goal posts shifted again
Wish one of you brainy lot would figure out a way to pin them down
Dr from ward been around. I'm wheezy today so had a nebuliser. Potassium levels are low so started a supplement. Chemo for tomorrow cancelled
Had a melt down at one of the nurses this morning when she asked about the boysHasn't done any good though. I'm still sat on the respiratory ward none the wiser. It's just so frustrating.... aaaarrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:
That feels better:D
Logie sorry the news isn't better, hopefully it won't be much longerSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

not sure what this one like
Thanks for these, a place to start anyway, think we will have to do comparisons in the supermarket sections as to how gritty things are“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Hi,
I am South East Kent, so unless you fancy a day trip to Margate, a bit too far.
Lots of casserole pots down here in both of the Tescos i have been to. My Mum wants the smallest pyrex dish, but can't get that one.
None of the 0.85l ones in the 4 stores i've been to today :mad:and only 1 had the cast iron one0 -
Have ding-a-linged a few more times today
Not allowed out of the room so have to ring for most things but have stopped 'saving' things up
Can't help feeling that me getting wheezy after being admitted to a respiratory ward is not a coincidence, chest been clear up until today! Think I'd be safer at home
Hang on in there Logie, they won't keep you much longer, I hope. |
My dad is on a respiratory ward and after a week has a hacking cough:( with his lung disease we are desperate to have him home away from germs, so fingers crossed its this afternoon.)0 -
I've just managed to log into my tcb and can duplicate what others have found;
Caesars confirmed at £40.40 :j
Paddypower confirmed at £0 but also still pending at £25.25♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
Logie, sorry to hear your not home and still in hospital, and chemo been postponed, ((hugs)) to you as you need them.
Rhosynbach, what an awful bus driver, I would have done the same as you, good thing there are some nice people out there, that still want to help others.0 -
