  • I have a query.

Asda say they will refund the difference and will be 10% cheaper. I always assume (but haven't checked) it works like this:

    Diet Coke 330ml x 8. 2 packs.
    Asda £3.00 x 2 = £6.00
    Tesco £4.20 bogof

Price check gives £1.80 back and Asda will be 10% cheaper so also 42p back (10% of £4.20)

Obviously the price guarantee is on whole shop so I appreciate you need 8+ items and any items which are dearer elsewhere will affect the total.

I've seen posts on here that in this example its £1.80 back plus 18p (10% of the difference).

I read the Asda price check as 10% cheaper than competitor, not 10% of the difference? So if you buy something the same price that compares it will refund 10% of the competitor price so Asda are 10% cheaper?

I've added things to APG shops that I buy anyway which are the same price assuming I get 10% discount off them. I know some peeps on here have spreadsheets which work it out, they will know what the right figures are. Can you please clarify it for me?
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

Big fish time!:rotfl::rotfl: The Heinz tinned spaghetti hoops (400g) are not showing their m'buy on MSM (either logged in or out) but are on sada.com. They are 2 for £1 part of the mix and match which includes Spaghetti in Tom Sauce, Alphabetti and Numberetti (as well as, apparently, WW version). Buy in 2s vs T (or W, or possibly M??)? Presumably could mix and match the hoops with another - as you're then buying only one of that other and missing the m'buy offer on that. Assuming MSM stays this way for a significant amount of time.

Now come on TM, you cant rush into these things. They need careful consideration and much discussion. :p

And of course must be full VFM, and of course end user 'consultation' and then discussion with 'stakeholders'.....
