I keep nagging nurses (DH would say it is a well practised skill
) but they're as in the dark about when I might move as I am. Have been sat here with bags packed since half 10 this morning but going to get back in my pyjamas in a minute. Just seems so ridiculous that a&e nurses were saying there is a huge shortage of beds at the moment - no one seems bothered about mine
Aww honey, its easy to say you're in the best place if you need anything, but I know how awful it is to be in there. xxx0 -

The inhaler the doc gave me is helping with the breathlessness, which is worse than the coughing now. My money is on bronchitis, I have never had breathlessness before its horrible/scary. Have to make sure I don't overuse the inhaler - never had one before and supposed to only use it four times at 2 puffs a time.
Just need to be well enough to get through a school day and parents evening tomorrow. Work from home Wednesday and fingers crossed be ok for work Thurs.
If its a steroid inhaler, don't forget to rinse your mouth after using it- it can cause oral thrushI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I think they posted in error, this is an old deal they were scanning at that last year some time, they prob picked up on an old post and posted as current then realised it was an old one...."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

At the end of the day, I woke up to sensible shopping and real bargain hunting thanks to this thread, so here I will stay. I lurk 99.9% of the time but if I do find anything, it will be posted here and only here xx
BTW, bit hi to Sir Frequent xx

must be so frustrating for you. I really hope they get you sorted out tomorrow. Seems crazy that you need to be moved just so you can be discharged! I suppose someone somewhere thinks it makes sense

Have you tried adding mayo and red sauce? Tried it up north somewhere (rotherham? maybe, but let's face it pretty much anywhere is 'up north' for me :rotfl:) and it's the best way to eat them
No never tried that, love mayo and red sauce, but never tried together, will have to try it sometime soon.0 -

If you think it's noisy where you are, it will be even noisier on the oncology ward
If they still don't give you any news tomorrow morning, we will get the elite flying squad to come and break you out

I'm keeping my eye on the lindor eggs there's still loads left...still 3 for £1 though.
This might be of use to someone ....in my T express this evening the jus-rol puff pastry twin pack was rtc for 65p, with shopitise 50p back. So I paid 15p for them:T probably store specific but maybe worth a look in the freezer department if you are in there.
Have a lovely evening.
