Oh I seem to have been getting the wrong ones then I think, cos if the ones I got aren't the LARGE ones we're gonna need a bigger bag!

Not seen any small ones myself but in one store they were not on clearance shelf but just on an ordinary shelf with a sel that said "new" and a £4.99 price - scanned 1p :j

The small ones are about 6"/15cm square, I did manage to find one of them (which straight to dad).

That's it I'm going back :rotfl:

10ways say that the large box of cadbury's thankyou chocs are 1p too, does anyone know if that's true - there were loads of them but I didn't try them as I thought it was just the small boxes :(

I can confirm that both big and small thank yous are scanning at 1p. I got a whole clatter of them today:D

Thanks, I did try a couple of easter ones but they were still full price. I'm trying to talk myself out of going back now, I don't even like praline :rotfl:

Careful with making assumptions about what is 1p and what is not

In one store i picked up a few things to take to price checker. All 1p items i found there were mothers day/valentines branded

I took back all the other chocs to the clearance aisle and whilst there i found a single chocolate rose. Threw that in trolley assumi g it would be 1p

I went to self serve and started scanning the 1p items and then this single, tiny piece of choc.....£1

Didnt want to risk the SA cancelling the whole sale if i called her over to cancel this one item so (to my shame) i paid £1 for a tiny piece of choc

Other things i thought would be 1p but weren't

heart shaped box of lindt chocolate
    Thorntons cheeky devil chocolate statue
    Heart shaped chocolate lollipops

I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.

    4p alert !!!!!

TOMORROW several items are going down to 4p in the T clothing dept, one confirmed item is a silver clutch bag with pink lining., We don't have a scanner at our store but got this from an SA who was using one of hers, it tells when an offer starts or ends and it told that they would go down at midnight. Hi

A big thank you to Artha tonight, I have just got my first DTD on 4 DVDs in my local SOT store. Well pleased, I have had a very productive day with the 1p chocs as well.

The CS went and took them all straight off the shelves, also went to IB on the way home but nothing....

    Thanks again.

    Claire x

What a good day you have had! Well done Claire1972:j
