Everyone Looking Into Trolley Excitement

Regarding cost of petrol etc., I combine the shops I do into the same run - so I'll go off to M's when near my work etc., as there's an M there - and thus not be going out too much on separate journeys. I've no idea how much my shopping is costing me (will, eventually, get organised enough to do so) but it can't be much more than £10 or £15 a week. It's certainly come down a significant lot, ever since I found how to do T PP when it was DTD (and haven't been able to return to 'normal' shopping ever since, given just how much it - and the other tips elsewhere on MSE - is saving me).
This whoops run, nominally cost me nothing as I walked to the nearest store for them (and used an old pair of boots that are worn out and on their last legs - replacement already sorted!).
But you must spend hours working out where to buy the shopping.
I keep a record of what I spend and because I find over £100 a month on wombles I don't worry too much about a 1p or 2p.Also because I live within 10 mins walk from Sada and 5 miles from Tosca(and I don't like Tosca)I do most of my shopping at Sada.0 -

ZX spectrum games tape to tape
My first computer to play games on was a Commodore 64! Then we got a sega master system or mega drive, not sure which or even if they're the same thing as it was bought solely for my brother and I could play it if he allowed me, needless to say I didn't get on it much:(. Then play station came out and he needed me to ask for a joint Xmas gift of it because my dad said it was too expensive. We also got a game boy when it first came out, still have it, fully working complete with the carry box to hold the console, games and charger. My dad was going to throw it out and DH asked could he have it.
I think he went through a few boxes in my mums and took quite a few of our old game boys. DS loved them when he was little but thinks they're uncool now, I wonder how he would feel if they were worth anything :rotfl:SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

I don't mind, and for me that's part of the fun (when glitches come around). It was initially long-winded (getting the products into the lists in the first place) but now I often know which items go on which comparisons anyway and they just change from time to time.[...]

That's what I was saying, regarding the bigger fish. I was also mentioning keeping better track of spending. The 1p or 2p was my point - clearly tonight it wouldn't have made sense to travel way out just to 'save' a few pence when the cost of the journey would have been far more.0 -

I'm like that - certainly this month took a while for luck to come in (slightly more than £2 a week!). And some of us don't have time to be going round car parks looking every five minutes - it's a matter of own priorities I think.0 -

But are there any triggers in that "4 for £10" offer? Sorry if I've missed - there may have been something on here while I wasn't looking!0
