Cheap accommodation in Aberdeen - Late April to mid May

Hi

I'm looking for cheap accommodation in Aberdeen for one person for three nights. I'm flexible re dates, but it has to be weekdays late April to mid-May.

City centre preferred, but willing to stay a few miles away, provided it's near bus routes.

Any suggestions, please?

Have stayed at the airport travelodge which is not very near the airport and you can usually get a deal a couple of weeks in advance. It is very basic but clean and as it is so out of the way quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Stayed at a premier inn in the city centre and it was very noisy as it was next to a main road. Avoid the Thistle at the airport it is terrible.

Travelodge would be fine. Provided that the place is clean and not too noisy, I'm happy. I'll check their offers on MSE, as sometimes they have very good prices.

Can I ask you why you didn't like the Thistle at the airport?
