Was in this morning, lot's of bacon/sausages's too... I wonder if you were in the same Lidl's in Glasgow, Marris, as I was! ;-)
Got 3 or 4 packs of Sausages, the middle bacon is too fatty for me, so had to give that a miss... The Bacon Medallions (which were on offer a few weeks ago) are the best in Lidl's.PK! :money:0 -
Why can't they have a decent offer on their fruit? Their pineapples went up from 99p to £1.50 the last time I looked, so I bought a couple of large ones on offer from Sainsbos at £1 and they are utterly tasteless. Lidl's are delicious but the prices fluctuate too much.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

They were just putting the bacon out when we got there. Hardly any fat on it so we bought 4 packs. We don't use a lot of bacon, but it will keep in the freezer.
Didn't get the sausages as whenever we've had them before they've had hard bits in them.0 -
VfM = Aldi have pineapples on for 69p from tomorrow and the 50p ones Asda had on a while back were excellent.

Well I bought 4 packs of the bacon today and 4 packs of sausage to try, they had loads of both and this was about 11.30. I have just noticed on my receipt they have charged me £1.35 for each pack of bacon
I didn't notice at the time. I wonder if every one was charged at that price. I will be letting them know next time I go in there. 0 -
Went at 11:00 this morning and grabbed 6 packs of plain sausages, lots of cumberland and linconshore ones left. Got 6 packs of the bacon too then asked at the checkout if they were restricting sales to 6/customer and was told no so went back and got 6 packs of linconshire sausages. Freezer is jammed full now but these will last us ages and we quite like the sausages in a hotpot as well as grilled for breakfast.:D0
