if you are issued with a form j restriction whet does this mean as far as selling your property which is in a joint mortgage.:)

It means there is a restriction on your property and they will contact the OR prior to allowing any sale to go through. Basically it is so you don't sell up and run away with the money. They were so lax at putting the restriction on my home, it took them 18 months by which time I had sold it however we backed out of the sale as we decided not to move.

Correct, if you want to sell then they will take your beneficial interest in the property.
