I have a Wilkos budget toaster, it's a bit noisy but does the job had it about two years now.

Long slot toasters are better for toasting a whole slice without having to turn it.

    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I have a cheap tesco one. Its stainless steel so still looks the part and works well. I have to admit I don't use it too often as often I do bagels / pannis in the grill rather than bread in toaster but toasted my bagel this morning and after 5 years, still going strong.

When I first moved into my own flat I bought everything cheap, as things broke I replaced them with better quality. If they didnt break they survived the test!

The morrisons value one I bought for £12 has been great and came with a 2 year warranty free. Plus they had them in black, white and silver when I bought it, not just white as most value brands do. Plus it fits a full slice in it! :)
