FRESH mag food doctor + tesco mag help

hello everyone...

completely new to the whole coupon thing so a few questions (hope it's not annoying or obvious )

just bought FRESH mag and i'm wondering:

1. can i use the vouchers for any shopping, like if i bought say, 2 loaves of bread and 3 tins of beans could I use the money off vouchers?

2. can I use more than one voucher at once?

and also... for the BIRDSEYE 50p off from TESCO's mag, does the same apply? i.e. can I use them even if I don't buy anything birdseye, and can I use more than one at the same time?

Thanks, sorry if it's obvious but a little scared of messing up at the checkout! (student budget and the likes...)

p.s. what's stopping you scanning vouchers at the self-scan and then keeping them if no-ones looking? (bad, I know, but just a thought!)

Hi and welcome. You can use the vouchers from Fresh Magazine in Tescos when you haven't bought the product IF your Tescos and the checkout person lets you every tescos and checkout person seems to have different rules. At my local tescos some say no, some say 10 % off the bill others just scan. Remember the ones who just scan. The coupons with a tescos logo will normally only scan if you buy the product but there are exceptions to that rule. I would be careful using self scans they do beep and require authorisation sometimes when you use coupons and the till person at the self scan can and does check what you put in. Recently a policeman was prosecute for scanning a clubcard voucher and putting paper in the coupon slot on self scan.

Hiya Emma :wave: don't worry about asking questions - I am sure that other people who do not post have wondered about them too.

As ella2002 says it really depends on the SA, we both have at times shopped at the same store and had completely different results. Coupon acceptance is a nice bonus but NOT an automatic right - when they are accepted the savings however can be wonderful !
